Have you ever dreamed about building an application for the IoT? Now you can—and maybe even win a cash prize!
Xilinx, in partnership with NTU, NUS, SUTD and the Singapore Semiconductor Industry Association (SSIA) is giving small teams of female students at three local universities a chance to bring their designs to life with Xilinx technology.
Here’s your opportunity to change the world and compete for a top prize of 1,500 SGD and internship opportunity with Xilinx Singapore – all in a marathon three-day session! Sign up for Xilinx’s IoT Hackathon today -- because a better world can’t wait!
The Internet of Things (IoT) touches your life every day. From the connected home controlled by your smartphone, to automotive smart sensors that keep you safe on the road, the IoT represents the promise of a smarter tomorrow—one that makes life easier and more efficient.
In this hackathon, students will be asked to build an IoT design using a python based Pynq development board from Xilinx. It combines the power of Raspberry PI and Arduino with the fast, parallel, and customizable logic of Xilinx FPGAs.
Specific challenge details will be presented at the start of the competition, and students will have 48 hours to complete their task. Finalists will then be asked to present their project to a panel of judges.
