Do Spartan-6 or Virtex-6 FPGAs support hardware CRC blockthe same asthe Virtex-5 FPGA?

No, thereareno CRC hard blocks in theSpartan-6 or Virtex-6 architecture.

Users will have to implement them using fabric resources.

Xapp562 can be used to create the CRC logic compliant with IEEE 802.3.
