The simulation only attribute SIM_MODE has been added to the secureIP models used for the GTP and GTX transceivers as of ISE Design Suite 10.1.02.
解决方案
SIM_MODE is a newly added attribute for both the GTP and GTX transceivers that allows the user to select between two models for either transceiver: FAST and LEGACY.
Setting SIM_MODE to LEGACY will use secureIP/smartmodel models identical to those included with ISE 10.1 and ISE 10.1.01 Design Suites. All functionality and simulation speeds will be equal to previous versions of the model.
Setting SIM_MODE to FAST will use updated secureIP/smartmodel models that have been optimized to simulate up to 4 times faster than the previous models. These models are functionally identical to the LEGACY models and will behave identically in simulation to the older models.
All new IP included with 10.1.02 IP update 2 that use either the GTP or GTX, including the RocketIO Wizards, will use updated wrappers that include the SIM_MODE attribute. It is recommended that the value of SIM_MODE be left to the default value set by any IP.
To avoid errors in simulation, users will need to
1) Recompile their simulation libraries after installing 10.1 service pack 2. 2) Regenerate the RocketIO core using versions from IP Update 2 or newer.
For more information about the SIM_MODE attribute, refer to the Synthesis and Simulation User Guide in the Design Tools section of the Documentation Center.
