I notice a significant jump in memory usage when I remove and add signals from the wave window back and forth. Closing and re-launching the simulator brings the memory usage down to a minimum.
How can I resolve this issue?
This is a known memory leak problem with the ISim GUI in ISE 11. We apologize for the inconvenience.
To resolve this issue, make sure you have installed the latest ISE 11 Update. Running the latest version of the simulator will offer enhanced GUI memory utilization.
This issue is currently under investigation in order to better address this condition in a future release of the ISE Simulator.
