Spartan-6 - Extended Performance Mode VCCINT Max Quiescent values

描述

The Extended Performance mode for the Spartan-6 Memory Controller Block (MCB) requires a higher nominal VCCINT voltage, as described in (Xilinx Answer 35818). This slight increase in voltage has an affect on quiescent current and power as related to that supply. This Answer Record describes those changes.

Extended Performance mode VCCINT and Power Consumption
When using the Extended Performance mode with the tighter VCCINT range forExtended MCB performance, the nominal voltage increases slightly from 1.20V to 1.23V. This increase also increases the quiescent current. The increase can be seen in the Xilinx Power Estimator (XPE) by increasing the VCCINT setting. The specifications in the Spartan-6 data sheet are for the standard VCCINT range. The table below shows the nominal values for 1.20V and 1.23V.
