When I attempt to bring up the PlanAhead tool from Project Navigator 13.1, the tool fails to launch and returns an error similar to the following:
13.1 PlanAhead - /tools/xilinx/xilinx13.1/ISE_DS/PlanAhead/bin/rdiArgs.sh: line 62: 14279 Segmentation fault $RDI_PROG $*
This issue can occur when the 64-bit PlanAhead tool is launched from RHEL 5.6.
To work around the issue, you can either use RHEL 5.4 (the latest Xilinx tested RHEL version), or you can invoke the 32 binaries for ISE software, which launches the 32-bit PlanAhead tool for Floor Planning and I/O Pin Planning.
