描述

When attempting to do indirect BPI programming on a flash attached to my Virtex-7 device, iMPACT fails to program with the following messages in the console:

INFO:Cse - Status register values:
INFO:Cse - 0011 1111 0101 1110 0000 1000 0100 0000
INFO:Cse - '3': Completed downloading bit file to device.
INFO:Cse - '3': Programming completed successfully.
PROGRESS_END - End Operation.
Elapsed time = 7 sec.
Core is not loaded.

The DONE pin has gone High, so it appears the core is actually loaded. What is the issue here and how do I work around it?

This issue will occur when you have two or more devices in the JTAG chain in front of the Virtex-7 device with the attached flash.If you have the capability, youcanwork around this issue by modifying the JTAG chain, removing devices in front of the Virtex-7 device. If this is not possible, please contact Xilinx Technical Support andreference this article.
