2017.4 Vivado IP Flows - Repackaging a user IP after deleting ports results in an unexpected error

描述

In Vivado 2017.4 I have removed some ports from a packaged IP.

Then when I click Review and Package > Package IP, the Vivado IDE goes down and the following unexpected error is generated:

解决方案

This crash occurs In Vivado 2017.4 IP Packager after a user tries to removes multiple ports from the packaged IP.

There are two options to avoid this error:

  • Remove one port at a time instead of removing multiple ports at once
  • Remove multiple ports at once, but after removing all ports, click somewhere else on the Vivado GUI and then try to Re-package the IP.

This issue will be fixed in Vivado 2018.1.
