Visit our booth # 1811 to see the following demonstrations and more.
112G Long Reach PAM4
112G PAM4 is the next step on the industry's road to higher bandwidth. This demonstration illustrates the Xilinx vision for 112G for next generation systems.
In-band Telemetry Using P4 for 5G Networks
This demonstration showcases flexible data plane telemetry for higher network performance. You will see flow monitoring at 100G rate using P4 along with application level analytics with Alveo NIC in Telco DC via the Barefoot Switch ASIC and Barefoot analytics software.
OvS Offload on Low Profile Xilinx NIC for vRAN Acceleration
This demo shows flexible high performance OvS offload for vRAN acceleration. Highlights include: HHHL low profile NIC with 2x100G network interface and 100G host interface, OvS flow tables offload for up to 10x throughput, and OpenDaylight controller plus Open Stack support.
Adaptable xPON Solutions
This demonstration integrates single PON HW allowing for 1G to 25G PON with SW updates. These PON solutions target the right applications at the right cost structure. This demo also showcases VOLTHA integration for open architectures.
Flexible 5G xHAUL Transport
This demo shows 4G and 5G coexisting with both CPRI and eCPRI/RoE transport on the converged access network while highlighting controlled latency utilizing Time Sensitive Networking with IEEE 802.1CM for optimal network design. Network slicing is also highlighted in this demonstration with hard demarcation of services and fixed latency transport.

How FPGAs Evolve to Address Compute Acceleration and Interconnect
Tuesday, March 5 | 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Room 6F
FPGAs have evolved over the years from simple PLDs, to SoCs, to Adaptable Compute. Its transceiver technology has steadily advanced as well. However, beyond 112G, there is no clear solution. Could it finally be optics?
Converged Networks for 5G RAN and Broadband Services
Wednesday, March 6 | 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM
Expo Theater III (Booth # 2146)
5G deployment will result in changes to RAN with base station disaggregation, edge compute and virtualization playing key roles. Deployments will require densification of cell sites further taxing the networks. The discussion will bring together industry experts to address the challenges for both 5G xHAUL and Broadband services.
Evolution and Productization of PAM4 Technology with in-house Serdes for Wireless Applications
Wednesday, March 6 | 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM
Expo Theater III (Booth # 2146)
An introduction to 58G and 112G PAM4 technology development at Xilinx and associated current and roadmap products with integrated Hard IP. Also an overview of the current and emerging communication standards that are supported by Xilinx PAM4 + NRZ technologies.
